Multilingual Ministries

How We Serve

The vice president for Multilingual Ministries is dedicated to promote awareness of needs and opportunities in order to reach non-English-speaking communities for Christ. It advocates the establishment of structures among existing multilingual ministries in the conferences with the purpose of maximizing successful methodologies, church resources, and training opportunities. It also sponsors unionwide events and initiatives to inspire an evangelistic movement among believers, congregations, and church leaders. It is our deep desire to see Jesus coming soon. Therefore, depending on the power of the Holy Spirit, we are committed to conclude the work the Lord has entrusted to us.

He also holds a master’s degree in Public Health from the Adventist University of Chile through Loma Linda University (Cali.) In 2010, he finished a doctorate degree in Pastoral Ministry from the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary (Mich.) His doctoral thesis was based on home churches/small groups as a healthy growth model for the church.

He has presented evangelistic series and seminars for pastors and laity in almost every country in North America and South America, as well as places in the Caribbean and Europe. An author, he has published three books and numerous articles in denominational magazines.

His passion is to present Christ in evangelistic series, train new evangelists, and involve every person so that evangelism—the Good News—becomes a lifestyle. One of his favorites verses is:

“For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power” (1 Cor. 4:20, AKJV).
